- Introduce me to key textile artists so I am familiar with the general timeline of key features of their work
- Allow me to work with new materials and experiment with new processes
- Teach me techniques that I have not yet explored - e.g. dyeing and weaving
- Enable me to go to at least two exhibitions - one contemporary, one historical
- Improve my drawing / presentation / Photoshop skills
